The famous question from Monty Python's "Life of Brian" echoes the argument in the Talmud, which lead to the death sentence of Rabbi Shimon bar Yohai. This was discussed in the class on Lag Ba'Omer.
This tour introduces the Roman Empire's impact on Ancient Judea in the Second Temple period. We will learn about important characters, inventions, sites and archaeology in Rome and Israel - and revisit the story of the destruction of the Second Temple.
